Este libro propone un diálogo entre la investigación de la colectiva artística COCO sobre el campo del arte con perspectiva de género, en diálogo con otrxs artistas y pensadorxs de Uruguay, latinoamérica y España, bajo una mirada histórica y afectiva que contempla, por fin, una mirada de género y decolonial en Uruguay.
Un libro que evidencia nuestro estado del arte y los mecanismos violentos y discriminatorios con el que fue construido, habilitando nuevas prácticas en las que todxs seamos parte de su reconstrucción.

This book initiates a dialogue bridging the research conducted by the artistic collective COCO within the realm of art with a gendered perspective. It engages in conversations with fellow artists and thinkers from Uruguay, Latin America, and Spain, presenting a historical and emotionally resonant viewpoint that now includes a gendered and decolonial lens in Uruguay. It serves as a testament to our current state of art, shedding light on the violent and discriminatory mechanisms that have shaped it. Moreover, it encourages the emergence of new practices wherein all individuals participate in its reconstruction.
